On Mirabai, the Ramayana, and South Asian Poetics: A Reading and Conversation

Join us as we welcome poet-translators Chloe Martinez and Vivek Narayanan for an evening of readings and conversation exploring two South Asian literary icons: the sixteenth-century poet-saint Mirabai (translated by Martinez in Blue Like My Beloved) and the epic poem Ramayana (inspiration for Narayanan’s book After).
The conversation will be moderated by translator Sadia Khatri.
