Volunteer at AWP26

ALTA’s presence at the conference and bookfair would not be possible without the hard work of volunteers, who make sure our booth is staffed at all times to provide information about ALTA’s conference and membership benefits, as well as Bookfair Bingo fun, to AWP attendees.

APPLICATIONS: Please only sign up if you plan to be at AWP26. Signing up through the form linked below does not guarantee you will be given a slot. Priority will be given to ALTA members, ALTA @ AWP26 panelists, and to those who have not received comped registration for volunteering with ALTA at AWP in the past.

SHIFTS: Volunteers are offered shifts in 1 hr increments during the hours of the AWP Bookfair: 9am – 5pm.

BENEFITS: Applicants who are accepted and who volunteer for 4 or more hours at the ALTA booth are eligible for free conference registration.  Please note: If you have already registered for AWP, we are UNABLE to comp your registration as AWP doesn’t allow for refunds.

DEADLINE: This form closed at 11:59pm PT on Monday, February 2, 2026. Selected volunteers will be notified on February 3.
