Are you attending ALTA’s conference for the first time this year? Or are you a seasoned expert of punctuation panels, riveting readings, and dynamic Declamación?

If you are looking for an “in” to this year’s programming, or if you want to be someone else’s, the Wayfinders program is for you. Our community is growing, and as we see attendance increase, we know you want ALTA49 to be as warm, welcoming, and intimate an experience as we do. Our goal is to pair up translators joining ALTA programming for the first time with those who know it best.

How it works: Fill out the form using the button below. ALTA staff will connect you to another translator by email, and the two of you can take it from there. We suggest you both attend the opening reception at ALTA49! Then, you’re welcome to continue the conversation if you choose. Those who have attended in the past can share tips about how best to navigate ALTA’s conference offerings, and together you can do what ALTA attendees do best: talk translation!
