Translation Support Program from Mexico’s Ministry of Culture

Mexico’s Ministry of Culture invites participation by publishers in the 2025 edition of the Translation Support Program (PROTRAD). This program seeks to promote the translation and publication of literary works by Mexican, Indigenous, and foreign authors, promoting the circulation of literature in various languages and territories through financial support of up to $800,000 (MXN). This year, special emphasis is placed on the translation of works that highlight the work of women writers and translators of Indigenous languages, within the framework of the “Year of the Indigenous Woman 2025.”

The application period will be open from April 21 to June 20, 2025.
