Ela Przybylo is Assistant Professor in English and core faculty in Women’s and Gender Studies at Illinois State University. She is the author of Asexual Erotics: Intimate Readings of Compulsory Sexuality (Ohio State University Press, 2019) and editor, with Sara Rodrigues, of On the Politics of Ugliness (Palgrave, 2018). Valeriya Yermishova is a French- and Russian-to-English translator and interpreter who grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She has a BA in French from SUNY Binghamton and an MA in Russian and French Translation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Martha Kosir earned her PhD in Spanish Literature from Vanderbilt University. She translates poetry from English into Spanish and from German and Slovenian into Spanish and English. Dr. Kosir’s research interests focus on translation theory, philosophy of language, and foreign language pedagogy. She works as Professor of Spanish at Gannon University.
