Founded in 1995 in New York City and named for the seven authors who committed to a home with a fiercely independent spirit, Seven Stories Press publishes works of the imagination and political titles by voices of conscience. New Rivers Press

New Rivers Press is interested in literary work of every character, but especially in diverse work that's aesthetically challenging and has a social conscience. Our Mall Voices Project competition (Sept. 15 - Nov. 1) seeks the best new literary prose and poetry from new and emerging writers. Our Electronic Book Series (July 1 – Sept. 1) seeks manuscripts in popular fiction genres. During open submissions (May), we are interested in reading the best work from writers in all stages of their careers. Founded in New York in 1968, the not-for-profit Press has now published over 330 books.

Harvill Secker

In 2010 Harvill Secker commemorated the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Martin Secker Ltd with a programme of events promoting international literature running throughout the year. Carolina Wren Press is a very small, independent publisher with an interest in voices from beyond the mainstream. We publish prose and poetry by underrepresented writers such as women, people of color, authors with disabilities, LGBT authors, and experimental writers at the rate of 2-3 books per year. Swedish Book Review

The main aim of Swedish Book Review is to present Swedish literature to the English-speaking world. It carries translated extracts from the works of Swedish writers, a variety of articles and a wide range of reviews. SBR features not only established writers but also new or lesser-known ones and also includes the literature of Swedish-speaking Finland.
