ALTA has EXTENDED the deadlines for panel proposals, submissions to the National Translation Award (NTA), Italian Prose Translation Award (IPTA), Stryk Prize until FRIDAY, APRIL 15th!
Additionally fellowship applications for new and emerging translators are open until MAY 9th!

Let’s reward great literature in translation! Submit nominations here for the National Translation Awards (NTA) prose and poetry. Recent winners include Norman Shapiro (2009), Alex Zucker (2010), Lisa Rose Bradford (2011), Sinan Antoon (2012), Phillip Boehm (2013), Eugene Ostashevsky and Matvei Yankelevich (2014), Pierre Joris (2015 Poetry), and William Hutchins (2015 Prose).
Know some great translations from Italian prose that have been published in the past year? Nominate them here to reward them. Last year was the inaugural year of the Italian Prose in Translation Award (IPTA); the winner was Anne Milano Appel.
We want to reward excellent literature translated from Asian languages; submit nominations to the Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize here. Past winners include Red Pine (2010), Charles Egan (2011), Don Mee Choi (2012), Lucas Klein (2013), Jonathan Chaves (2014), and Eleanor Goodman (2015).
